About The Position

We are currently seeking a Head of Department: English to join our High/Secondary School team. This position offers an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to lead the English and Literature department, guiding curriculum development and supporting both staff and students in achieving academic excellence within the IB DP framework.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Education, English, Literature or related field (minimum requirement)
• No previous teaching experience required; passion for teaching and leadership potential essential
• Strong understanding of the IB Diploma Programme philosophy and requirements preferred or willingness to learn quickly
• Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, students, and parents
• Ability to inspire student engagement through innovative teaching methods
• Organizational skills necessary for managing departmental responsibilities including curriculum planning
