This team handles data infrastructure, analytics engineering, and data science that powers product decisions and AI features. You'll directly impact millions of users by building the intelligence that makes Replit smarter and more intuitive, and you'll help Replit teams by turning user behavior into actionable insights that drive growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related field, OR equivalent real-world experience in data roles.
• 7+ years of experience in data with at least 2 years in a management role.
• 5+ years building data infrastructure and analytics at scale.
• Experience with modern data stack (SQL, Python, dbt, BigQuery, Looker, etc.).

Nice To Haves

• Experience with ML/AI systems and real-time data processing.
• Experience at a high-growth developer tools or SaaS company.
• Background in product analytics and experimentation frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Hire, mentor, and retain a high performance team of data engineers, analytics engineers, and data scientists.
• Be decisive on data strategy and direction, helping Replit achieve company goals and its long term mission of bringing a billion software creators online.
• Set the pace and drive urgency in delivery, to help us win in a hyper competitive AI-powered development market.
• Roll up your sleeves and pitch in on projects, data modeling, and other team activities.
• Build data pipelines that capture the nuanced signals of how users create, collaborate, and learn on Replit.
• Design ML models that power Replit Agent's code generation and help users write better software faster.
• Create self-service analytics platforms that help product teams understand user behavior and optimize the development experience.
