About The Position

Clearstory is addressing a significant challenge in commercial construction, specifically the $200 billion problem of Change Orders that disrupt jobs and create billing chaos. As the industry's first Change Order Communication and Workflow Platform, Clearstory offers a network-based SaaS solution that enhances communication and workflow among financial systems, field teams, and project stakeholders. The company is experiencing rapid growth and is seeking a Data Analytics Lead to help leverage data for strategic decision-making and to capitalize on the substantial market opportunity.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in data analytics, preferably in a SaaS or technology environment.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, metrics development, and analytics tools.
  • Experience with A/B testing and performance metrics analysis.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience in mentoring and developing junior analysts.

  • Familiarity with the construction industry or related fields.
  • Experience with modern analytics tools and platforms.
  • Knowledge of financial modeling and pricing strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Define Clearstory's analytics roadmap across Product, Growth, Marketing, and GTM.
  • Build the company-wide metrics lexicon and event taxonomy that power our decisions.
  • Champion a culture of measurement, experimentation, and continuous learning.
  • Analyze acquisition, activation, retention, and monetization to identify growth levers.
  • Develop models for LTV, churn, and segmentation that inform product and pricing strategy.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to design and interpret A/B tests, adoption metrics, and performance frameworks.
  • Mentor and empower analysts to think strategically and communicate with clarity.
  • Elevate data literacy across departments through training, documentation, and storytelling.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and RevOps to ensure our data infrastructure scales cleanly and reliably.
  • Create dashboards and narratives that connect the dots between data and decisions.
  • Translate complex analysis into actionable insights for executives and teams alike.
  • Explore and implement modern analytics tools that improve efficiency and accuracy.
