About the position

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Head of Commercial to lead and expand our client's go to market strategies across their contract research & development offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic commercial plans to achieve sales targets and expand customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships with emerging & established pharma & biotech customers.
  • Lead deal structuring and negotiation, ensuring both immediate revenue and long-term value creation.
  • Understand the latest industry trends and technical developments in cell line development and CMC to enhance business growth.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in CDMO/CRO sales with a focus on biologics, cell therapy, gene therapy, or related fields.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong technical understanding of cell line development and CMC.
  • Previous experience building and leading startup sales teams.

Nice-to-haves

  • Candidates based in San Francisco are preferred but not mandatory.
