About The Position

In this role, you will lead the development and management of enterprise-wide automation and business systems, ensuring operational efficiency and regulatory compliance. You will own the design, implementation, and maintenance of complex automation workflows and AI-powered processes, driving accuracy and reliability across multiple business functions. The role involves close collaboration with technical and business stakeholders, integrating ERP and external systems, and proactively monitoring system performance. You will lead a team of engineers, set technical standards, and ensure the scalability and resilience of automation pipelines. This position offers the opportunity to shape the backbone of business operations and make a measurable impact on company performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience building complex compliance or regulatory automation systems in production
  • Expertise in workflow orchestration, state machines, and automation frameworks
  • Experience with AI/ML-powered document extraction, OCR, NLP, or similar technologies
  • ERP integration experience, preferably with NetSuite
  • Strong attention to detail, especially in edge cases, error handling, and system state transitions
  • Demonstrated leadership in multi-jurisdictional automation projects
  • Familiarity with cloud-based DevOps, API integrations, and monitoring of large-scale systems
  • Experience using AI tools (Claude Code or equivalent) in daily development workflow

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and management of enterprise automation workflows, state machines, and AI-powered systems
  • Develop and maintain compliance engines, document extraction pipelines, and regulatory reporting solutions
  • Integrate automation processes with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred) and external APIs
  • Oversee DevOps, including job monitoring, alerting, pipeline reliability, and system health dashboards
  • Ensure high-quality delivery with <1% error rates in compliance logic and automated processes
  • Manage and mentor technical teams, setting standards and best practices for automation and system design
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
