About The Position

The Head of Analytics will join Prop Firm Match and Prop Firm One to build a trustworthy analytics foundation for affiliate attribution and product analytics, turning messy cross-domain data into clear, actionable decisions. The role involves implementing a GDPR-compliant analytics stack, reconciling partner and clickstream data, launching KPI dashboards, and enabling rapid root-cause analysis of performance changes. Additionally, the Head of Analytics will establish a reliable monitoring system for market dynamics and lead the analytics function and team.

Requirements

  • 6–10+ years in analytics or analytics engineering
  • Expert in SQL
  • Strong Python or R skills
  • Practical statistics knowledge
  • Proven cross-domain and affiliate attribution experience
  • Proficient in GA4, server-side GTM, dbt, and modern BI tools
  • Strong background with both internal and external website analytics tools
  • Exceptionally smart, detail-obsessed, and highly analytical
  • Able to translate complex data into crisp, actionable insights for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Comfortable being both an individual contributor and a leader
  • Available to work within Central European Time overlap
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in AI-driven analytics and strong plans for integrating AI tools into workflows
  • Prop firm experience (strong plus); FX/brokerage background also valuable
  • Experience with MMM/Bayesian modeling, SaaS product analytics, and SEO testing
  • Experience building analytics frameworks, pipelines, and dashboards that scale with company growth

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a trusted analytics foundation (first 6 months; ongoing)
  • Implement a GDPR-compliant, end-to-end analytics stack (server-side GTM/Conversion API, subIDs, partner postbacks/APIs, BigQuery/Snowflake, dbt, BI tools)
  • Reconcile partner and clickstream data to produce consistent EPC, RPC, LTV, approval, and refund metrics
  • Launch KPI dashboards and alerting systems for real-time monitoring and weekly business reviews
  • Define and enforce event taxonomy, ensuring data accuracy and standardization
  • Enable rapid root-cause analysis of performance changes within one business day
  • Anticipate and act on market dynamics (first 3 months, ongoing)
  • Establish a reliable monitoring system for competitive trends, regulatory shifts, and market changes impacting prop trading, fintech, and affiliate ecosystems
  • Provide monthly executive briefings that translate market movements into actionable commercial strategies
  • Deliver at least three quarterly recommendations that directly influence pricing, partnerships, or market positioning, each supported by projected ROI and risk assessment
  • Ensure that external factors are modeled for their impact on revenue, acquisition, and retention, with scenario plans prepared in advance of market shifts
  • Lead and grow the analytics function & the team
  • Start hands-on, then mentor a high-performing analytics team
  • Manage priorities, ensure deadlines are met, and foster a collaborative, results-driven culture
  • Represent analytics in leadership discussions, ensuring data-driven decision-making across the company
