As the Head of AI for Lazard’s Financial Advisory business, you will need technical and domain expertise to build and deploy innovative solutions that enhance M&A workflows.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of hands-on experience in M&A banking and deep understanding of workflows associated
• 6-8 years of experience in a product or AI-dedicated role at intersection of business and engineering
• Outstanding technical fluency when it comes to AI technology, particularly large language models and machine learning tools
• Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and advocate for users throughout development process
• Technical vision and acumen required to develop tools that are compliant and work to integrate tools with various data sources and other tools to maximize impact
• Exceptional and compelling communication skills, with ability to negotiate, influence, and build consensus
• Exceptional EQ for relationship building and effective cross functional collaboration
• Degree in computer science, AI, data science, or a related technical field strongly preferred

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with knowledge management, unstructured data systems, or digital workflow design strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Interact with our bankers daily to understand how they work, what challenges they face, and how they can leverage AI in their end to end workflows and client interactions.
• Partner with technology to optimize our existing AI tools and capabilities based on usage data and actual banker behavior/feedback.
• Demonstrate knowledge of banking/M&A activities to establish credibility and build influential relationships with end users.
• Partner with sector and regional M&A teams to pilot tools, gather feedback, and ensure adoption.
• Liaise with counterpart in EMEA to develop a transparent global roadmap that prioritizes high-impact use cases against defined success metrics.
• Continuously monitor our existing AI tools against emerging capabilities, innovating for scale and business impact.
• Ensure all tools and releases are secure, compliant, and aligned with firm standards.
