Under general supervision of the Assistant Director of Nursing and the Director of Nursing in Ambulatory Care, directs the development, implementation and evaluation of the nursing regimen for patients/clients within the pediatric clinic, involving the diagnosis and treatment of responses to actual or potential health problems by means of nursing methods and techniques such as case-finding, health teaching, health counseling and the provision of care supportive to, and restorative of, life and well-being. Schedules, assigns, guides, directs and instructs nursing personnel in nursing activities related to chronic disease management in the pediatric population. Collaborates with the leadership team to ensure performance improvement opportunities are identified and implemented within the clinic.
