Head Morning Opening Lifeguard & Swim Instructor
About The Position
The Lead AM Opening Lifeguard & Swim Instructor is responsible for maintaining order in the pool area at all times. Primary responsibilities are (1) to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of a lifeguard and (2) must be reliable, available and committed for early morning shifts. Assures safety of all pool participants, both members and non-members and assumes all job duties of a swim instructor. Must be able to thrive in an environment with the unique challenges of a non-profit community service organization. Works with limited supervision. Provides exceptional customer service.
Requirements
- Minimum age is 18 years old
- Required – Certification in CPR, First Aid and Lifeguarding, can be obtained at the Y
Nice To Haves
- Lifeguarding experience, and swim instruction experience
- Experience with children or willingness to be trained
