About The Position

We are seeking (2) passionate and dedicated Head Middle School Track and Field Coaches to lead our spring season. The coaches will be responsible for teaching the fundamentals of track and field, fostering teamwork and sportsmanship, and creating a positive and supportive environment for student-athletes. The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of track and field, previous coaching experience, and a commitment to developing young athletes both on and off the track/field.

Requirements

• Previous coaching or track and field experience preferred
• Strong understanding of the game and its rules
• Ability to motivate and inspire young athletes
• Strong communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Lead practices and coaching sessions for middle school athletes
• Develop and implement practice plans focused on skill development, strategy, and teamwork
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and competitive team environment
• Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school administration
• Promote good sportsmanship and discipline among student-athletes
• Attend all practices, games, and relevant meetings during the fall season
