About The Position

Penn State Behrend Athletics invites applications for the part-time position of Head Coach of Men’s & Women’s Tennis. The coach will provide leadership and direction for both the Men’s and Women’s Tennis programs, including but not limited to:

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee both men’s and women’s tennis teams, including daily practice planning and match preparation.
• Coach student-athletes, improving individual skill, teamwork, game strategy, conditioning, and sportsmanship.
• Recruit qualified student-athletes in compliance with institutional and NCAA Division III rules.
• Direct competitions and team travel logistics, coordinating schedules, lineups, and strategies.
• Encourage academic success and personal growth, supporting student-athletes’ educational goals.
• Manage equipment, facilities, and team administration, including adherence to university and athletic department policies.
• Promote athletic programs within the campus and community, representing Behrend Athletics positively.
• Ensure compliance with NCAA, conference, and university regulations governing recruitment, practice, and competition.
