About The Position

Miles Community College is seeking a dynamic and student-focused Head Men's Baseball Coach to lead and advance the competitive success and academic achievement of our baseball program. This full-time, exempt position provides program leadership, including player development, recruitment, scheduling, budget oversight, and supervision of coaching staff. Miles City is a welcoming eastern Montana community known for its strong support of MCC athletics. The College offers excellent athletic facilities, including baseball field, indoor practice and training space, and year-round access to conditioning resources. MCC Baseball has a proud legacy of success, producing championship-level teams, All-Region athletes, and numerous student-athletes who successfully transfer to four-year programs. The community takes great pride in Pioneer Baseball, creating an energetic and supportive environment for coaches and student-athletes.

Requirements

• Associates degree required; bachelors degree preferred.
• Coaching experience at the high school or college level preferred.
• Ability to plan practices, recruit athletes, manage a budget, and support athlete well-being, conditioning and injury response.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of the baseball program: player development, practice planning, game strategy, scheduling and travel.
• Recruit student-athletes and support academic advising/eligibility to meet enrollment goals.
• Manage program budget and document expenditures.
• Ensure compliance with NJCAA rules and MCC policies.
• Participate in fundraising activities, community engagement, and assigned campus committees.
