About The Position
The Junior High Boys Head Basketball Coach is responsible for organizing and supervising a comprehensive sports program. The coach must have previous successful coaching experience in basketball and substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport. The role requires the coach to serve as a role model for student athletes, instructing them in fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training necessary for individual and team success. The coach is also expected to promote character development, self-discipline, self-confidence, and pride of accomplishment among the athletes. Continuous professional development through coaching clinics and observations is encouraged.
