The Head Guard is responsible for assisting with the overall management of Mohegan Park Beach, including staff supervision, training, and evaluation, as well as program planning and implementation. The Head Guard assists the Waterfront Director with supervision of the waterfront area during operational periods, ensuring patron service and safety both in and out of the water. This role includes providing emergency care when needed and monitoring patron activities at the swimming site. Additionally, the Head Guard plays a crucial role in maintaining a safe work environment and fostering a dynamic work environment that encourages teamwork among staff. Minor administrative duties are also required.
