About The Position

The Head Golf Professional at Eagle Harbor Golf Club is responsible for assisting the General Manager in managing daily golf operations, including staff supervision, tournament organization, and maintaining a high standard of service. This role involves overseeing the golf shop, managing employee schedules, and ensuring the club's operational budget is adhered to while creating a positive environment for members and guests.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• PGA/LPGA Professional Certification completion required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Head Golf Professional.

Responsibilities

• Assist the General Manager in daily business and management functions of golf operations.
• Hire, train, direct, and supervise all golf shop and outside staff according to service standards.
• Prepare weekly employee schedules and bi-weekly payroll summaries.
• Work with the Tournament Director to organize and conduct tournaments.
• Ensure adherence to the operational budget and participate in departmental meetings.
• Plan and manage daily play according to the Golf Manual.
• Maximize tee sheet capabilities and revenues through market analysis.
• Solicit memberships, tournaments, and outings.
• Manage and maintain inventory accurately.
• Conduct daily facility walkthroughs to ensure safety and presentation standards are met.
• Participate in the formulation of annual and seasonal marketing campaigns.
• Prepare and maintain the club's Calendar of Events in coordination with various departments.
• Provide club orientation to new members and participate in member golf activities.
