About The Position
CUSTODIAL POSITION VACANCY POSITION: HEAD DAY CUSTODIAN SCALE: HC/III GENERAL DUTIES: Train custodial employees in use of equipment and materials. Assist in an orientation and training program for new employees. Arrange and adjust work schedules as required. Supervise custodial employees assigned to a building. Set work priorities and inspect work areas daily. Regularly inspect equipment and initiate repairs as needed. Inventory and order custodial supplies and equipment. Coordinate preparation for night activities.
Requirements
- Excellent attendance and work record.
- Two years' experience in custodial work. Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials and equipment.
- Ability to operate mechanical cleaning equipment.
- Ability to follow oral/written instructions and complete required requisitions and other paperwork.
- Good human relations skills and ability to work well with staff and supervisors.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Submit written reports and/or documentation to Custodial Supervisor and principal.
- Must have reliable transportation.
- High School Diploma or its Equivalent
