Required Qualifications: Requires a minimum of two years previous custodial and grounds experience - one year previous lead or supervisory experience is desirable. Requires the ability to move objects weighing up to fifty pounds. Ability to read basic operating instructions and write reports. Demonstrated aptitude for the successful completion of tasks. Must be able to climb a six ft ladder. Be a high school graduate or have passed the recognized equivalency examination for GED. Must be competent, after suitable instruction, in the proper use of chemicals and compounds used in the custodial program. BACKGROUND SCREENING: All prospective employees must submit to a Level 2 background check pursuant to Florida State Statute 435.04 and be found eligible by the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. The background check will include, but is not limited to, fingerprinting for statewide criminal history records checks through the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, national criminal history records checks through the Federal Bureau of Investigation, local criminal records checks through local law enforcement agencies, and a search of the sexual predator and sexual offender registries of any state in which the prospective employee resided during the immediate preceding 5 years.
