About The Position

Our client, a mission-driven, leading health and wellness platform that is revolutionizing telehealth for providers and patients alike, has exclusively retained Solutus Legal Search to assist the Company in its search for a Head Counsel, Product. Reporting to the SVP, Associate General Counsel, this attorney will lead a team of attorneys who are responsible for handling complex legal matters relating to the full life cycle of products offered by the company, from development to launch and beyond, including digital offerings and FDA-regulated products. In this high impact, highly visible role, you will act as a key advisor to executives and other senior leaders, providing solution-oriented legal advice, managing risk, and developing legal strategies to support the global growth of the company. Strong candidates will have 12+ years of experience practicing at a law firm and in-house, with deep knowledge of and experience with the legal and regulatory issues involved in product development, launch, and marketing, including advertising and consumer protection laws. They also will have management experience with a strong track record of building, leading, and mentoring teams, and will be superb, trusted business partners who are self-starters and comfortable making risk-based decisions in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. Experience with consumer goods, health tech, and digital product ecosystems is desirable. Compensation is targeted at an annual base salary range of $300,000 to $320,000, an equity grant, and generous benefits. The total compensation package will vary and depend on the candidateâs level of seniority, number of years of directly relevant experience, and geographic location. Requirements

12+ years of experience practicing at a law firm and in-house, with deep knowledge of and experience with the legal and regulatory issues involved in product development, launch, and marketing, including advertising and consumer protection laws.
Management experience with a strong track record of building, leading, and mentoring teams
Superb, trusted business partners who are self-starters and comfortable making risk-based decisions in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Experience with consumer goods, health tech, and digital product ecosystems is desirable.
