About The Position

The Head Coach for Women's Volleyball is responsible for recruiting student-athletes, scheduling games and practices, fundraising, coaching, and coordinating travel to and from away contests. The coach will maintain discipline and create a positive student-athlete experience while teaching sport techniques, skills, game rules, strategies, and tactics. Ensuring the safety of student-athletes during practices, games, and travel is paramount. The coach will collaborate with the athletic director on daily operations, address potential challenges, manage awards, scheduling, and fundraising efforts.

Requirements

  • Associates degree
  • Thorough knowledge of College, department, OCCAC, Region XII, and NJCAA policies
  • Understanding of FERPA and the proper chain of command
  • Ability to conduct practices, games, and meetings safely
  • Accountability for actions on and off campus
  • Exhibit professional behavior
