About The Position
Penn State Behrend, a member of the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference, is seeking candidates for a full-time Head Coach for our Women's Volleyball team (DIII). The Head Coach oversees all activities of a University athletic team; plans and directs training of student athletes; assesses individuals' abilities and skill level to determine appropriate team position; analyzes opposing team performance and capabilities and determine game strategy; assists players in reaching highest athletic potential through athletic training and leadership skills; promotes the team; participates in fundraising and community service efforts; actively recruits and retains top prospective student athletes; maintains familiarity with NCAA and/or other applicable rules and regulations.
