About The Position
QUALIFICATIONS: Springfield School District seeks individuals who are committed to the mission and vision of the school. Individuals are hired based on their relevant experience and demonstration of responsibility and flexibility. Specifically, we are looking for staff members with: Belief in the mission and vision of the school RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Relentless commitment to raising academic achievement of all student-athletes Organize and attend all practices and contests Ability to motivate students Ability to individualize instructions Strong communication skills Knowledge of rules and strategies Experience as a coach preferred Experience as a player preferred Enthusiasm for the sport Coaching certifications preferred (NFHS) Ability to work effectively with students, staff, parents, administrators, and the public Maintain a high level of ethical behavior Available to work a flexible schedule, including afternoon/evening/weekends Carry out other duties as assigned by the athletic director that are sport or coaching-related
Requirements
