About The Position

The Head Coach of Women's Soccer at Wayland Baptist University is responsible for leading and developing the women's soccer program, ensuring adherence to athletic regulations, and fostering a positive environment for student-athletes. Requirements

• Master's Degree preferred.
• Head coaching experience at either the high school or college level is essential.
• Strong understanding of progressive teaching and coaching methodologies.
• Ability to implement organized practice plans effectively.
• Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of relevant sports and their governing rules.
• Ability to collaborate as a team member and exhibit self-direction.
• Demonstrated leadership in executing soccer coaching responsibilities.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coaching techniques and strategies for soccer.
• Recruiting quality student-athletes.
• Knowledge and adherence to Sooner Athletic Conference and NAIA rules.
• Monitor the team's academic performance.
• Scheduling of matches and related events.
• Budget management and organization.
• Purchase and maintain equipment and supplies.
• Event preparations, campus, and community relations.
• Marketing and development of the program.
• Leadership development.
• Manage social media accounts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
