About The Position

The Head Coach I for the CARA Swim Team is responsible for overseeing the training and development of the swim team members. This position requires a strong understanding of competitive swimming techniques and the ability to motivate and inspire athletes. The Head Coach will plan and implement training sessions, manage team logistics, and ensure a positive and inclusive team environment. Additionally, the coach will work closely with parents and team officials to promote the team's goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of competitive swimming techniques.
  • Proven experience in coaching swimming at a competitive level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire athletes.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in CPR and First Aid.
  • Experience with swim team management software.
  • Knowledge of swim meet regulations and procedures.
