About The Position

Cristo Rey Jesuit High School, a Jesuit, college-preparatory, co-educational school seeks an Assistant Coach for coed Track & Field. The successful candidate will have a commitment to Catholic education and a willingness to work with a population of diverse learners. The successful Cristo Rey coach is dedicated to developing the whole person in sport, character, and skills for success in life. The candidate will be responsible for leading the boys and girls track & field teams in collaboration with one or two assistant coaches.

Cristo Rey Jesuit High School: Founded in 1996, Cristo Rey Jesuit High School provides a Catholic, college preparatory education and professional work experience to students from Spanish-speaking families across the southwest side of Chicago. To make the school both sustainable and affordable to our families, Cristo Rey Jesuit pioneered the Corporate Work Study Program (CWSP). Our unique and highly successful funding model inspired what is now a national network of Catholic high schools serving low-income families across the country. Requirements

• Strong background in the sport.
• Excellent role model.
• Flexible in nature and dedicated to empowering Hispanic student-athletes.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
• Familiarity with the mission of Cristo Rey Jesuit High School
• The ability to respond effectively to the needs of student-athletes.
• Minimum 21 years of age, driver’s license preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with Spanish language and first-generation college bound students preferred.
