About The Position

Provide overall leadership, organization, and direction of the boys' soccer program at Grand Peak Academy Develop and implement practice plans, training sessions, and game strategies Instruct and prepare student-athletes for competition Establish, communicate, and enforce program expectations, standards, and team culture Supervise and delegate responsibilities to assistant coach(es) Attend and oversee all practices, games, and team activities Ensure effective preparation of the team for all competitions Manage program operations, including communication, scheduling, and equipment Monitor student-athlete academic progress and behavior Ensure compliance with all school, district, and league policies Maintain a safe environment and respond appropriately to injuries or incidents Maintain clear, respectful communication with parents, school staff, and student‑athletes.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Previous coaching experience; head coaching experience preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of soccer fundamentals, strategies, and program development
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to supervise staff and build a cohesive team environment
  • Completion of Concussion Training or willingness to obtain prior to season start
  • Adherence to all Grand Peak Academy policies, including the Employee Handbook, Family Handbook, and all applicable school and board policies
  • Mandatory Background check and fingerprinting
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Ability to move throughout fields and athletic facilities, both indoors and outdoors
