Why This Role Matters As the Head Clinic Nurse, you’re the heartbeat of our RHC clinical operations. You’ll guide day-to-day workflow, support and grow clinical staff, ensure high-quality care, and partner closely with the RHC Director to move department initiatives forward. This role blends leadership, hands-on nursing, coaching, and collaboration—all in a community-based healthcare setting where you truly see your impact.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN program
• Current NH RN license (or ability to obtain)
• BLS (within 12 months)
• 5+ years of RN experience preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
• Someone who can build connection—across providers, staff, patients, and families

Responsibilities

• Lead daily clinical operations across all RHC
• Support and mentor nurses, LPNs, CMAs, and clinical staff
• Assist with scheduling, payroll, performance feedback, and training
• Triage patients, process refills, and manage complex prior authorizations
• Help maintain and strengthen policies, procedures, and standards of care
• Ensure compliance with state nursing regulations and governing agencies
• Provide clinical informatics support to providers and staff
• Collaborate with providers and the RHC Director on program development and positive change
• Step in to perform staff nurse duties when needed
