About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead our kitchen operations with excellence and creativity. As the Head Chef, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and safety while spearheading the culinary team. This is a full-time, hourly position that requires outstanding leadership skills and a drive to consistently deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Head Chef or a similar leadership role in a high-volume or fine-dining kitchen.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and culinary trends.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop staff.
  • Thorough understanding of food safety and sanitation regulations.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage time and prioritize kitchen activities.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Proficiency in English, both verbal and written, is required.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, develop, and execute innovative and seasonal menus that align with the brand’s vision and customer preferences.
  • Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating, to ensure quality and efficiency.
  • Lead, train, and mentor the kitchen staff to maintain a productive and harmonious work environment.
  • Ensure adherence to food safety and hygiene regulations, upholding a clean, organized, and compliant kitchen at all times.
  • Manage inventory, including ordering and stocking ingredients, while minimizing waste and controlling costs.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house teams to maintain smooth communication and enhance the guest experience.
  • Monitor and evaluate kitchen performance, implementing improvements to optimize workflows and staff effectiveness.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and innovations, incorporating them into culinary operations when appropriate.
