Requirements

• Undergraduate degree
• AACCA Cheerleading Safety Course | USA Cheer Certification
• Minimum of 2 years of cheerleading coaching experience
• Proven leadership and supervision experience
• Strong motivational and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid Certification (assistance provided for certification)
• Experience as a collegiate cheerleader
• Experience in a supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Conduct practices for the cheerleading team.
• Supervise and direct team members during practices and events.
• Coach team members to improve their skills and performance.
• Recruit and retain cheerleading team members.
• Represent the University of Denver and its athletics programs.
