As a Head Cashier, you will lead the front-end team to ensure smooth and efficient checkout operations. This role involves overseeing shift schedules, guiding and coaching cashier team members, and maintaining accurate handling of various payment types. You will also ensure checkout areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked, while assisting customers with inquiries and resolving concerns. Requirements

  • Previous experience in a supervisor or team lead role, ideally in a retail or customer-facing environment
  • Comfort working with POS systems and handling various payment types accurately
  • Ability to resolve customer concerns with professionalism and empathy
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills to promote cashier performance and growth
  • Capable of managing shift schedules, maintaining front-end cleanliness, and ensuring supplies are stocked
  • Clear and effective communication with team members and customers
  • Consistent attendance and a commitment to workplace standards and policies
