About The Position

Tippecanoe Valley High School is seeking an energetic, knowledgeable, and student-focused Head Boys Soccer Coach to lead our high school soccer program. The ideal candidate will be committed to building a strong, competitive program that emphasizes skill development, teamwork, character, and academic achievement.

Requirements

Prior successful coaching experience preferred (head coaching experience strongly encouraged).
Comprehensive understanding of soccer fundamentals, tactics, and player development.
Ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor student-athletes in a positive and disciplined environment.
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Demonstrated professionalism and alignment with the Viking values of Character, Leadership, and Excellence.
Must meet all coaching certification and background check requirements.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and oversee all aspects of the Tippecanoe Valley High School Boys Soccer program.
Design and implement effective practice plans focused on player development, tactical understanding, and physical conditioning.
Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership among players.
Supervise assistant coaches and coordinate scheduling, equipment, and travel logistics.
Maintain consistent communication with players, parents, staff, and administration.
Support the academic success and personal growth of all student-athletes.
Build strong relationships with youth and community soccer programs to encourage long-term participation and program growth.
Ensure full compliance with IHSAA, Tippecanoe Valley School Corporation, and conference rules and expectations.
