Standing Bear High School is seeking a varsity head coach to provide qualified leadership for the Girls Wrestling Program. Good communication and organizational skills are required as well as the ability to develop positive and productive relationships with student-athletes, their families and the community. Must be able to provide quality instruction of fundamental skills as well as have a comprehensive knowledge of the sport of wrestling. The successful candidate must have the ability to lead and enhance the ongoing development and improvement of the program. Be responsible for inspecting and maintaining the inventory and equipment; reporting contest results; and must know, implement and enforce national, state and local athletic policies. A strong belief in the value of educational-based athletics is critical as is an emphasis on the importance of the student-athlete.
