About The Position

This position has the responsibility to wash heads in a specific order to make sure that the heads are free from debris. The position is also having the responsibly to build cylinder heads back to Jasper standards. This involves installing seals, valves, springs, retainers, plugs, etc. Then they are to verify visually and with test equipment that the head meets Jasper standards. It is a job that requires operator to follow standards in order to meet production goal.

Requirements

The ability to lift, bend, push, pull and move materials up to 50lbs
The ability to stand or walk an entire shift (can be approx… 8-10 hours)
The ability to use handheld tools such as Hammers, drills, torque wrenches, and other hand tools.
Standing: Continuously
Walking: Frequently
Sitting: Never
Stooping (forward leaning): Frequently
Reaching/Working Overhead: Frequently

Responsibilities

Wash heads in a specific order to make sure that the heads are free from debris
Build cylinder heads back to Jasper standards
Installing seals, valves, springs, retainers, plugs, etc.
Verify visually and with test equipment that the head meets Jasper standards
Follow standards in order to meet production goal
