HDD Operator / Horizontal Directional Drill (Class A CDL) TRAVEL REQUIRED
About The Position
As an HDD Operator at B.H. Inc., you are a critical leader on our project sites, directing quality and ensuring compliance. You will work directly with the HDD Foreman to execute large-scale utility projects (pipe sizes 6" to 24"). Your key impact areas: Operate Ditch Witch rigs (JT25, AT60, JT60) and guide drill bits using the Falcon F5. Perform pre-operational checks, routine maintenance, and troubleshooting. Lead utility pot-holing and manage tooling changes for various ground conditions. Maintain a proactive, positive, and professional attitude toward site safety.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of dedicated HDD Operator experience.
- Valid Class A CDL required (or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire).
- Expert proficiency with Falcon F5 and Ditch Witch controls.
- Ability to travel 90% of the time (typically 4–6 week stints).
- Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. (No sponsorship available).
