About The Position

As a Pharmacy Technician at Optum, you will play a crucial role in improving health outcomes by assisting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications. Your responsibilities will include managing inventory, processing prescription orders, and ensuring that workstations are adequately stocked. Requirements

• Active and unrestricted state NHA PhT license
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours with intermittent breaks

Nice To Haves

• Pharmacy/prescription data entry experience
• National Pharmacy Technician Certification
• Experience navigating through Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Process and fill prescription orders in preparation for pharmacist verification
• Pack and ship completed prescription orders to patients
• Maintain drug inventory and automated dispensing units
• Replenish workstation supplies for filling prescriptions as needed (includes vials, caps, labels, etc.)
• Occasionally reach out to patients for customer service calls and inquiries on orders shipped
