About The Position

The Supervisor, Table Games Service at Harrah’s Cherokee Valley River Casino & Hotel is responsible for supervising the operation of one or more table games on an assigned shift. The role emphasizes guest service, enhancing the guest experience, and engaging in service recovery. The supervisor monitors employee performance, ensuring adherence to various regulations and company policies, and is involved in employee motivation through recognition and corrective coaching. The position also requires ensuring game integrity and providing security for departmental assets.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • BSBA degree from an accredited institution preferred.
  • Two to five years of casino experience with direct dealing required.
  • One-year supervisory experience preferred.
  • Proficient in Blackjack and at least one other major game required.
  • Excellent customer relations, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Ability to comply with regulatory issues and follow detailed procedures.
  • Extensive knowledge of casino rules, regulations, and Internal Control Procedures.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including handling volatile situations.
  • Proficient in Windows-based office software.
  • Ability to learn interaction with CMS and Caesars Rewards systems.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the operation of table games on an assigned shift.
  • Emphasize guest service and enhance the guest experience.
  • Monitor employee performance and ensure adherence to regulations and company policies.
  • Issue or recommend discipline or recognition for employees.
  • Motivate employees through positive recognition and corrective coaching.
  • Ensure game integrity and provide security for departmental assets.
  • Counsel, guide, coach, evaluate, and instruct assigned personnel.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of dealers and pit staff.
  • Participate in hiring, performance evaluation, and termination processes.
  • Prepare and coordinate performance reviews of assigned personnel.
  • Handle disputes and ensure high-quality guest service.
  • Manage labor, supplies, and expenses in line with company strategy.
  • Maintain knowledge of local gaming laws and regulations.
  • Assist in the efficient operation of Poker tables when assigned.
