About The Position

The Dining Attendant at Harrah's Cherokee Valley River Casino & Hotel is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in assigned dining areas, ensuring a pleasant experience for guests. This role involves various tasks such as clearing tables, stocking supplies, and providing excellent customer service while adhering to company standards and policies.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Neat, professional appearance with excellent personal hygiene.
  • Willingness to learn and be adaptable.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and guests.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Documented teamwork behaviors and attitudes.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and endorse the business objectives, ethics, and values of Caesars Entertainment.
  • Clear used items from tables.
  • Wipe tabletops and chairs using a damp cloth.
  • Mop and sweep floors.
  • Stock products as needed.
  • Ensure stock delivered from the warehouse is put away in proper storage areas in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a safe work area by addressing spills and hazards.
  • Maintain a neat and sanitary appearance of assigned work area.
  • Inform Supervisor/Manager of any situations that arise or need immediate attention.
  • Interact pleasantly with guests in the dining room.
  • Know the hours/days of operation.
  • Acknowledge and respond to customers immediately, demonstrating top box customer service standards.
  • Build relationships with customers demonstrating excellent service skills.
  • Accommodate the needs and requests of any guest.
  • Provide the highest quality of service to customers and associates at all times.
  • Complete tasks, even if overtime is involved.
  • Receive and examine inventory and supplies to ensure quality and quantity meet established standards.
  • Properly maintain and store company inventory including utensils, cookware, and machinery.
  • Protect all company assets regarding waste, breakage, and theft.
  • Share equipment with co-workers.
  • Abide by appearance standards.
  • Complete daily shift checklist verified by leader before leaving.
  • Perform any other duties as requested by shift leader.
  • Adhere to regulatory, departmental, and company/department policies/procedures in an ethical manner.
