About The Position

As an HCM Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting, analyzing, and enhancing the organization’s Human Capital Management (HCM) system, Dayforce .You will collaborate closely with Human Resources, Finance, Payroll, IT, and Leadership teams to ensure data integrity, regulatory compliance, and effective system integration. This role requires strong analytical skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to manage system configurations, projects, and enhancements within the Dayforce platform that support organizational goals and workforce initiatives.This is a hybrid role requiring candidates to be within driving distance of one of our offices in Erie, Pittsburgh, or Philadelphia, with preference to the Erie Region. The position will follow a hybrid work model with a combination of onsite and remote work based on team and business needs.

Requirements

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess business needs and translate them into effective Dayforce system solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, Finance, and external vendors.
  • Advanced technical skills related to HCM systems, with a strong preference for Dayforce configuration, data architecture, reporting, and system optimization.
  • Knowledge of system security, data privacy, and compliance with regulatory standards such as HIPAA and other federal/state employment regulations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business, or a related field with 5+ years of experience in HRIS/HCM administration.
  • Hands-on experience configuring, maintaining, and optimizing HCM (Dayforce strongly preferred).
  • Experience with HCM reporting, data analysis, and workforce analytics (SQL or reporting tools a plus).
  • Proven ability to manage HCM system updates, implementations, integrations, and testing (UAT).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while contributing effectively to cross-functional project teams.
  • Eligibility to meet regulatory, security, and compliance requirements applicable to the role.

Responsibilities

  • Administering, configuring, and maintaining the Dayforce HCM system, including workflows, business rules, dashboards, and integrations.
  • Collaborating with Data Analytics, HR, IT, Finance, Payroll, and vendors to ensure Dayforce system functionality and data integrity.
  • Managing Dayforce system updates, enhancements, testing, and release processes.
  • Troubleshooting Dayforce system issues and providing tier-two support for HCM-related inquiries.
  • Creating and maintaining Dayforce standard and ad hoc reports and dashboards to support HR, compliance, and financial reporting.
  • Performing data audits and validation within Dayforce to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
  • Supporting payroll and HR data reconciliation processes in partnership with Finance and Payroll teams using Dayforce data.
  • Assisting with Dayforce integrations, data migrations, and implementation projects.
  • Leading or supporting user acceptance testing (UAT), system upgrades, and change management initiatives within Dayforce.
  • Developing system documentation, SOPs, and training materials, and providing end-user support and training on Dayforce.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement, automation, and system optimization within the Dayforce platform.
  • Ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards while maintaining secure data practices.
