About The Position

Outpatient Therapist (Contract) – Office | Turning Point Homes, LLC Turning Point Homes, LLC is seeking a provisionally or fully licensed mental health professional (LCSW, LCMHC, or LMFT) to join our Outpatient Services team to provide office/virtual therapy at our Mooresville office and provide therapy for out IAFT clients. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage & Family Therapy from an accredited graduate program
  • Fully or provisionally licensed in North Carolina (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT)
  • Minimum 1 year of documented clinical experience with the population served
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to demonstrate empathy, insight, and unbiased clinical judgment
  • Proficient in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapeutic intervention
  • Ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation
  • Sound ethical and professional decision‑making

Responsibilities

  • Provide individual and family therapy through in‑person or telehealth sessions for office based clientsa dn IAFT clients.
  • Complete documentation within required timeframes per Medicaid Coverage Policy 8C
  • Maintain compliance with all outpatient service standards and MCO guidelines
  • Oversee administrative tasks including intakes, authorizations, reauthorizations, and productivity requirements
  • Respond promptly and professionally to new referrals and ensure all stakeholders remain informed
  • Participate in supervision, CEUs, and agency‑required training to maintain licensure
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
