About The Position
Outpatient Therapist (Contract) – Office | Turning Point Homes, LLC Turning Point Homes, LLC is seeking a provisionally or fully licensed mental health professional (LCSW, LCMHC, or LMFT) to join our Outpatient Services team to provide office/virtual therapy at our Mooresville office and provide therapy for out IAFT clients. Requirements
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage & Family Therapy from an accredited graduate program
- Fully or provisionally licensed in North Carolina (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT)
- Minimum 1 year of documented clinical experience with the population served
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to demonstrate empathy, insight, and unbiased clinical judgment
- Proficient in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and therapeutic intervention
- Ability to maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Sound ethical and professional decision‑making
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and family therapy through in‑person or telehealth sessions for office based clientsa dn IAFT clients.
- Complete documentation within required timeframes per Medicaid Coverage Policy 8C
- Maintain compliance with all outpatient service standards and MCO guidelines
- Oversee administrative tasks including intakes, authorizations, reauthorizations, and productivity requirements
- Respond promptly and professionally to new referrals and ensure all stakeholders remain informed
- Participate in supervision, CEUs, and agency‑required training to maintain licensure
- Perform additional duties as assigned
