About The Position

Wright Directions Family Services (WDFS) are community-based services for at-risk youth which include: (Behavioral Health Screening, Diagnostic Assessment Services, Therapy/Counseling Services and Service Plan Development). WDFS received accolades Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities. These are medical or remedial services that have been recommended by a physician for maximum reduction of physical or mental disability and restoration of a beneficiary to their best possible functional level.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a program that is primarily psychological in nature (e.g., counseling, guidance, or social science equivalent) from an accredited university or college and experience working with the population we serve preferred.

Responsibilities

• Behavioral modification intervention to children and adolescents with mild to severe behavioral disturbances.
• In-school, after-school/evening, home & community-based service interventions.
• Family Support Services designed to assist families to develop strategies for coping more effectively with problems resulting from behavioral health issues.
• Independent Living Skills - basic living, problem-solving, and social skill building.
