Overnight HCA/ CNA Needed
About The Position
HIRING IMMEDIATELY! OVERNIGHT (Awake shift) caregiver that has Nurse Delegation for Diabetes that is comfortable with hospice, feeding tube and giving Insulin shots and is willing to go to Woodinville. Male client is not bedbound but does spend most of the night in bed. Shifts are Monday - Thursday overnights from 9PM -9AM. Requirements
- Active CNA or HCA certification with the state of Washington - or proof of completion or current enrollment in training program
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and fingerprint check
- Ability to read, write, and follow oral and written directions in English
- U.S. work authorization (Mandatory)
- Strong commitment to reliability and punctuality
- Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner
- Outstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skills
- Physical endurance to complete required tasks
Responsibilities
- Provide pleasant and supportive companionship
- Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor’s appointments, walks etc.)
- Assist clients with personal care, hygiene, dressing, and other daily living tasks
- Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own, including preparing meals
- Prepare for clients
- Report any unusual incidents to agency, medical professionals, and family members
- Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
