About The Position

Performs duties under supervision of the Medical Director, Program Director, and/or Clinical Coordinator as appropriate for the program. He/She is responsible for the safe and effective operation of the hyperbaric chamber(s) and related support systems. He/She is also responsible for the day-to-day maintenance on the hyperbaric chamber(s) and related support systems.

Requirements

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Be certified and/or licensed in one of the following vocations: Respiratory Therapist, Current Diving Medical Technician (DMT), Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT), Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practice Nurse (LPN), Diver Medic, EMT, Paramedic
• Current certification as CHT or DMT (interim status may be appointed until CHT or DMT certification is attained); be certified as a CHT or DMT within one year of hire
• Attend an approved HBO safety course post hire
• Attend an approved Hyperbaric Safety Director course post hire
• Must complete a National Board of Diving and Hyperbaric Medical Technology approved medicine introductory course post hire
