About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Associate HAZMAT Production Coordinator for Site Operations Support at Boeing Jacksonville, Florida. Position Responsibilities: Responsible for supporting site HAZMAT activities. Process and move production and other materials into and out of storage, production, and other locations to support the flow of production following standard work instructions. Monitor work in process. Communicates status of parts and materials using automated systems and manual reporting methods to ensure parts availability. Identify and solve problems or discrepancies of limited scope with parts and materials using established procedures or processes. Coordinate with various functions to set priorities, expedite and complete production activities to avoid schedule delays. Work under general supervision. ECBVIB (Associate Level; Can perform the above tasks with little or general supervision) ECBVIC(Experienced Level; Can perform the above tasks with no supervision and can assist others)

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with HAZMAT awareness.
  • 3+ years of experience with inventory management, to include inventory optimization.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience using HazTrax, ARIBA, GOLDesp experience and/or similar systems knowledge (ERP/MRP systems)
  • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 25 pounds occasionally within an 8-hour shift.
  • Ability to walk, stand, climb, and descend stairs, bend, and lift items frequently within an 8-hour shift. This can include climb ladders, bend and twist frequently up to 6 hours per day, squat and kneel.
  • Ability to obtain a forklift certification.
  • Ability to work variable shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
  • This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.
