The Job at a Glance As the Hazmat Material Specialist (Internally known as OEM Material Master ), you will be responsible for guaranteeing all Hazmat Receiving, Picking and Put-away alongside side of Housekeeping in the Hazmat storage locations will be done daily. You will also be responsible to assist the Hazmat team with outgoing hazardous material orders . A Typical Day You will meticulously Receive Hazmat Product into our WMS system and ensure the product is not damaged or l eaking. You will Put- away and allocate with a RF scan gun the Hazmat product and deliver it to the correct storage location s. You will pick all Hazmat related order s with a RF scan gun and get them to the correct shipping locations in a timely fashion. You will operate a forklift to maneuver skids , load trucks , and maintain a clean and safe work environment. You will need to be able to read and understand the SDS for each hazardous item as well as understand the CFR 49 Regulation manual including follow all directions from the manual to clean up spills. The salary range for this role is $42,744.83 – $52,721.25 annually ($20.55 – 25.34 hourly) which is based on including but not limited to qualifications, experience, and geographical location. Parts Town is a pay for performance-company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role.
