Requirements

  • 1 year of experience in Customer Service/Administrative role
  • Comfortable working in a physically demanding environment, including lifting up to 40 lbs, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive tasks in a warehouse or plant setting
  • Intermediate Microsoft office skills to be able to efficiently report

Nice To Haves

  • Industry experience within operational environments and production platforms is ideal
  • Salesforce experience is preferred but not required
  • Proven experience within process improvement

Responsibilities

  • Respond to hazardous waste inquiries and resolve customer issues via Salesforce with accurate reporting and timely follow-up.
  • Maintain inventory systems, audit paperwork, and ensure proper labeling and segregation of waste.
  • Support all customer service and administrative functions related to hazardous waste logistics, including preparing and closing manifests, creating route books, scheduling with third-party incinerators, and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Serve as the first point of contact for hospitals and healthcare facilities via phone and email
  • Investigate and resolve customer requests and complaints using Salesforce
  • Physically handle, move, and inspect hazardous waste containers; lift up to 40 lbs and perform regular facility audits.
  • Complete regulatory and customer documentation, ensuring compliance and process accuracy.
  • Communicate with plant management on service issues and collaborate with the National Hazardous Waste Specialist on improvements.
  • Manage container inventory, order labels, and uphold environmental and safety standards
