About The Position
The Hazardous Materials Inspector I position is responsible for conducting inspections of City facilities and work sites that involve hazardous materials or waste management activities. This role includes identifying potential hazardous materials, performing waste sampling, drafting permits, and conducting training classes related to hazardous materials. The inspector will also work at the Miramar Landfill to ensure compliance with waste management regulations and practices.
