Haul Unit Operator 2nd Shift
About The Position
Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. Operate or learn to operate a 70 ton haul truck to transport rock products to the processing plant and stockpiles as directed Perform basic pre‑operation inspections to ensure equipment readiness Support production by moving materials efficiently and accurately Follow all safety standards to contribute to a strong safety culture Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Assist with other tasks as needed to support site operations.
Requirements
- Ability to operate or learn to operate haul units and related equipment
- Strong commitment to working safely and following established procedures
- Capability to perform essential physical tasks in an industrial environment
- Reliable work habits, teamwork skills, and adaptability
- Situational awareness and sound judgment in a dynamic work setting
- Flexibility to work various shifts and overtime as needed.
- Willing to work up to 10-12 hrs/day; 6 days/wk when needed
- Must be punctual and have reliable transportation
- Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
- Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

- $25.70/hr with an additional $1.00/hr differential for second shift
- $2,000 Sign-On Bonus paid out in two installments (6 months and 1 year)
