About The Position

Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. The role involves operating haul units safely and efficiently to transport materials within the site, conducting routine equipment inspections, and reporting maintenance needs. The candidate will follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations, work closely with team members to optimize operations, and maintain accurate logs of loads, routes, and any operational issues.

Requirements

• Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong awareness of workplace safety and compliance standards.
• Capability to communicate clearly and work well in a team environment.
• Physical stamina to work in varying outdoor conditions.
• Attention to detail in following operational procedures and reporting issues.

Responsibilities

• Operate haul units safely and efficiently to transport materials within the site.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.
• Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Work closely with team members to optimize operations.
• Maintain accurate logs of loads, routes, and any operational issues.
