Requirements

Proven experience as a Articulating Haul Truck Driver in a mining or heavy equipment environment.
Knowledge of safe haul truck operation practices.
Ability to work in a physically demanding and outdoor environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

MSHA certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

Safe Operation of Haul Trucks: Operate haul trucks to transport materials within the mining site.
Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Material Transportation: Load, transport, and unload materials according to project specifications and production schedules.
Communicate effectively with equipment operators and supervisors to coordinate material movement.
Equipment Maintenance: Conduct pre-shift inspections on haul trucks and report any issues to the maintenance team.
Ensure routine maintenance tasks are performed to keep equipment in optimal condition.
Safety Compliance: Follow safety procedures and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
Participate in safety meetings and training sessions as required.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of material transported, distances covered, and fuel consumption.
Report any incidents or accidents promptly.
