For additional information about our company, visit our website at www.fisherind.com POSITION SCOPE The Articulated Haul Truck Driver will be responsible for safe and efficient operation of production mining equipment. They will be operating an 860 Articulated Haul Truck to move water, aggregate, and panels to support site development operations. Position requires extensive travel and living at or near job sites. Position also requires passing a background check to gain access to a Government worksite.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Applicants must be able to pass Government Background Check for job site access
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and physical is required
  • M.S.H.A. part 46 and/or part 48 or willingness to obtain certification - company will pay for certification
  • Ability to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions including heat above 100 degrees, cold, rain, and snow
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and physical is required
  • Applicants must work well in a team environment
  • Nights and/or working weekends
  • Position requires extensive travel and living at or near job sites

Responsibilities

  • Comply with all company policies, procedures and standards of safety
  • Conduct pre-trip/walk-around safety inspections and completes daily Field Level Hazard Assessments for all activities
  • Maintain heavy equipment in good operating condition, reporting and logging maintenance requirements or concerns
  • Complete production reporting and other documentation as required
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with other team members
  • Be a leader in both safety and production for the team by ensuring compliance with all company, clients, and legislated safety policies and procedures
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Perform other duties as assigned
