About The Position

This position is responsible for performing various hatchery tasks while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson's policies and procedures. Pay rate = $ 16.75/hr. Applicants will be considered for the day shift. Generally involves a 40/hr. work week, but hours and start time could fluctuate depending on specific tasks performed. Hatchery work involves working in a hot, wet, and sometimes dusty environment. Frequently lifting Up to 60 pounds without assistance is required. Specific job duties include but are not limited to, egg setting, tray wash, chick culling, chick box stacking, operating a separator, pulling buggies and hatcher tray repair, sanitation, transfer, and all other duties assigned by the supervisor.
